Victoria Johnson

Biography

Victoria Johnson has resided on Vancouver Island for the past forty years.  As far as Victoria can remember, she has always been a maker.  Quilting, glass, needle point, knitting, cement and wax, she has always found herself taking from her surroundings and making beautiful things.  Vicki has been doing stained glass, using found objects such as sea shells, gem stones and rocks and just recently driftwood which all exhibit the ocean feel for the past fifteen years.  Vicki also enjoys making lampworked beads into the traditional jewellery, and spiders! Fused glass also gets Vickis creativity going, as she creates kiln casted memory pieces such as baby socks, and dresses.  A career woman, wife, mother and grandmother, Victoria still finds the time for her passion.  13240757_10154179462236228_8980049992697891058_n
