Good Morning Friday! What a week.  What an incredible month! February just flew by so quickly and January felt like it was never going to end! Am the only one feeling this? February 2020 has been incredible – I have been learning so much in regards to small businesses, networking, and social media.  I participated in Campbell River’s She Wolf Marketing Pinterest Workshop where I spent the evening learning another way of promoting our business using visuals.  What a great evening and so much information! Who knew there was more to Pinterest than planning your (pretend) wedding! So now there is a Pin button on our website and our images are slowly makings way to that social platform from our Etsy & both TideLine.Org & Unique Memories websites! TLG is so uptown it isn’t even funny!!
A quick congratulations to Nerissa who won the FaceBook contest in celebrating yours truly’s birthday who went home with a sand casted barnacle.  Thank you everyone who participated- you always know how to make a girl feel super special!!
This month in the hot shop I made some memorials each turning out so unique and beautiful.  I have been posting new pictures to the Unique Memories site as well as some updates to help better navigate.  I think this time around the blue tea light was my favourite, or perhaps the orange one.  Orange is my favourite colour.  I love making the memorials, meeting with the people, families, hearing about their loved ones and even forming friendships.  I truly am blessed!

It has been a whirl wind of fun in the Hot Shop this month! Last weekend Bob McLeod & Shannon McLeod joined me in some blowing fun where I was able to focus on bigger pieces with their assistance.  In late May TideLine.Org will be participating in the Comox Valley Studio Tour and want/need to come up with some pretty cool and unique garden pieces.  Stay tuned to see what Glen comes up with!
I did make some Tidal Balls with all of the bowls and rondel that didn’t make its way into the annealer so there are some new colours… mixed with some tears (I kid) but working big you have to manage your heat and your punties.  Bigger isn’t as forgiving.  Needless to say the experience was humbling if anything! Also these past few weeks I was able to make some bright new tumblers and some bowls available on our Etsy site.

Stained Glass Lessons have been so much fun! We are offering another session March 7 & 8 – for more information email Vicki or hit our FaceBook Page up for the details.  There is space for you if this is on your bucket list make sure to sign up.  We will be busy with upcoming events and shows for the remainder of year and will not be offering these lessons monthly.

Everything made is on display at the studio so come say hi – we’d love to see you! Just ring the doorbell on the fence! As always thank you for the bottom of our hearts, your love, your support is what keeps our dream alive!!
