Now that summer has arrived, I trust everyone is busy outside, getting their required Vitamin D! Tide Line has been busy on the road, participating in different markets up and down the island. Busy enjoying the sun, and have met some really interesting people throughout my journey this summer.
Just to let you know this weekend, July 21 & 22 is the Nanoose Bay Art in the Garden event at 2525 Northwest Bay Road from 10am – 4pm both days! Admission is by donation. It features all local Artisans, live music, food… Should be a fun weekend!
The following weekend, July 28 is River City Art Fest downtown Campbell River on Shoppers Row. Rumor has it there’s over 100 Artists participating! Its Saturday only from 11am – 4pm!
And if you’re into the market scene, every Tuesday you can find me at the Parksville Craig St. market from 6pm – 9pm!
If you’re out and about touring the island, you should check out the Salish Sea Market in Bowser; Salish Sea Gallery in Cowichan Bay, and Dales Gallery in Chinatown, Victoria!
I am so very excited to share with you that my Discovery Passage piece was accepted into the Sooke Fine Arts Show, that will be on display in Sooke starting July 28. When I was there dropping off my piece I had the opportunity to see some of the other entries accepted, and wow. Very impressive! If you’re an art fan of all mediums this is definitely a show you should check out!
