Yesterday was an exploring day for me, we ventured to a small town called Lindberg on the other side of the Lake from Nora. The weather at the moment is nice, its cold, crisp and dry. We walked from the train station and up to the grocery store, then along the lakes. The history thats on display still leaves me in awe. I could see cobblestone peaking out from beneath the frozen snow on the roads. The building details are from what I have seen in old movies. The houses are painted bright colors here, lots of yellow and blue. Some red and black.
The Church was tall and strategically placed on the hill like it was written in the manuscript. Buildings go back to the 1800’s. Its amazing the structure is still standing, strong enough to endure the wear and tear of people but of the harsh weather.
I loved the history in Ontario, even the small bit in Victoria, but here well I wish I was psychic just for a day just so I could see the past.
