As an admin to the II Lines Glass Designs FaceBook Fan Page I see a different page that the Fan does. It tells me “the insights” how many people see my postings, the statistics etc. and in the past few weeks my numbers have dropped hugely! To the point where I put my serious face on and set out to find out why! Google was a huge help, and I concluded that as great as FaceBook is, it sees the action us small businesses were getting and want in on it. So now, for all of my 400 fans to see my posts I have to pay for my insightful, interesting blurbs to show on your newsfeed… this starving artist doesn’t have the luxury to pay. Apparently if I post something like a link (this blog) there is more potential of my postings being seen, and more if you comment, like, and or share… in other words I have to encourage you to engage more to be seen more.
So not only for my FanPage, but for others in my position as well if you’re not seeing your favorite FanPages showing up on your newsfeed, search them out, hit the “Like” button and scroll down to “show in newsfeed” button. Then whenever you see a page posting, hit the “Like” button, share it, or comment…
Without you guys Id be nothing, and I am so very grateful for all of your support and love! I will be sure to investigate my favorite FanPages now…
