Looking for a unique, handmade plant stake? I made some, and this past weekend proved them popular. Sandcasted glass with sea shells or flowers mounted in steel plant stakes, or driftwood stakes. Right now, there are some stakes on display at the Mountain Ridge Tree farm on the Island Hwy on your way to Courtenay. You should stop in there, theres a cute little gift store Miss Priss, and then a nursery of hanging baskets and such in the same building!
Also, I will be at the 10th Annual Art & Bloom Festival at the Kitty Coleman gardens this weekend, May 19th & 20th 10am – 5pm and Monday 10 am – 4pm. On display will be plant stakes, both styles and new one in the works, Jelly Fish, Tidal Balls, Sea stars, Driftwood beach memories, and some bigger blown bowls. Cross your fingers for the nice weather, I’m pumped!
