Although fun this past weekend, it was exhausting. We left early Friday morning, to leisurely make our way down the island to Sooke. We stopped along the way for hellos, browsing, and coffee and then lunch.
It was a fabulous weekend to spend with my mom, get away, and work at the same time. The Prestige Hotel in Sooke where the show was hosted at was beautiful. There was a lot of venders there, with some pretty neat things they made. All handmade. All original. Its hard to find a venue that hosts only that, so I was really thrilled. Ettie Catto with Earthlygoods.ca was an amazing organizer of the event. Her efforts were totally appreciated, and I look forward to going to her Christmas shows.
The weather was beautiful, the people were so encouraging and nice. It was a well deserved refreshing weekend!
Whats next? The 10th Annual Art & Bloom Festival May 19th, 20th, 21st where I will set up the tent and display my glass works for the Courtenay crowds. 
Hours are Saturday & Sunday 10am – 5pm and Monday 10am – 4pm.
