An afternoon in Orebro

Today we drove into the city of Orebro where I was your typical tourist clicking pictures every time I turned around. The buildings are beautiful, the bicycles have the right of way and at the grocery store you have the option to bring a scanner with you while you shop. I think the idea with self scanning is express check out.
We went up in the mushroom, when you reach the top you find yourself overlooking the entire city. The wind was cold, so we treated ourselves to some coffee and a cookie.

We then made our way to the Castle where the first King of Sweden resided. I took many pictures there.
We walked through the end of the market, but saw some amazing slippers. Ate some donuts where the sign said ‘Good like American’. I vowed to never complain about the cold market days I had to sit at after watching the people here freeze.
The country is beautiful here, reminds me a lot of Canada. Lots of green.
As for inspiration towards my up and coming glass work… well so far I have taken a few pictures of different textures but for the most part I am just enjoying being with my family. Snuggling the babies. And working through this time change.
