So I’m sure you are all familiar with Amanda Parker, seems I rave about her every time she comes to visit me. Last weekend we sandcasted together, and it was so nice to be in the hotshop with someone comfortable with the hot glass. Things flowed nicely, and I got to relax a little.
So Amanda’s other half Jake joined us in the hotshop, we tease him continuously but he was a good sport. He did a few gathers on the pipe, got his hands dirty, and even created some really nice pieces. Not bad for an engineer I say!
Conclusion: It was a great weekend with great friends!
