Fall is here!

I don’t know what it is with the fall, but it seems to bring the stained glass out in me.  In the past two weeks I have completed three mid sized stained glass safari themed pieces.  I am ashamed to say I did not draw the pattern, lack of energy, motivation you name it Ill claim it.  I used the “In the Wild” pattern book by Jean Beaulieu only making changes to the size, and well the Lion made him round instead of square.
I would not recommend these patterns to a beginner, not that I am an advanced stained glass guru or anything but I found there to be a lot of pieces making the pattern somewhat tedious to follow.  The end result though gave great detail, so the small pieces that had to be ground and foiled were well worth the moans and groans.
Whats next? I took note of the tiger this morning, and the zebra…
Stained Glass Lessons have began, no commitment, pay for what you learn is the new way of doing things here at TLG.  I have to say its working well, on Saturdays from 10am – 4pm you come for three hours, with your project of your choice and we help you.  That way if its just the grinding, soldering or foiling you need help with, then thats all you get.  If you don’t know any of it, thats ok too, we can start at the beginning!
As for other classes, I am lacking imagination and creativity… so if there is something you want to learn? Ask.  And if I don’t know, I’ll do some research and find out!  ~Toni.
