Perfume anyone?

This year has been a long one for me.  For my family.  For the business… and the frustrating part is that the days still go on, there is no rest, or break.  The sun still comes up, the bills are still delivered and the cold working is never done.
My Grandpa was one of my favorite people in my world, and in the past few months I have learned he was a lot of others as well.  He would call me every morning at the shop, and when I’d say, can I help you, he’d say no you can’t help me but can I help you.  Or he’d burp… I didn’t think I’d miss him as much as I do.  I was hoping I could channel this whatever I’m feeling into some art work but I got nothin.
I finished off some perfume bottles this week that were sitting in the cold working room collecting dust for eons.  They turned out ok, and even thought of some new designs for next years.
I was even thinking of experimenting with the kiln’s, I found a book in the back about warm glass that got my brain thinking a bit.  I find a lot of disappointment with the kiln, and I am a girl of little patience.  So what have I been doing to keep my hands busy? Yarn is my best friend.  The thing that brings me comfort.  There is so much you can do with it… and it fits in your purse, you can watch tv… Perhaps I’ll find a way to use both wool and glass together.
