I had the pleasure of attending Australia’s Kirstie Rae do a presentation on her kiln work glass. It was great to listen to her talk about her career in glass, where she draws her inspirations from, and how her concepts come into play.
At the same time I was able to meet a few of the glass artists in BC, and mingle a bit. It was nice to be among my ‘own’ for the day!
