In my spare time…

When I’m not in the wood shop drilling driftwood, or stringing tentacles I find myself going outside and finding inspiration that I never took the time before to think about.
While watching the Sea Lions, this little beauty swam by

Driving today I noticed those big weed bushes with the yellow blooms… and I thought I wonder how they would cast.  I’ve discovered orchids, how can I blow one.  Somethings eating my strawberries… interesting teeth marks and I thought cool, how could those impressions be engraved into a vessel.  Its almost time for me to go back to work.  A sketch book is now full, my hard drive is full of pictures of scenery, plants, and textures.I had heard so much about the Deep Bay Field StationI had to check it out.  So much to see in such a hidden spot, was truly a great experience, saw some sea life up close.  Saw some creative really cool art pieces by islanders too.  Definitely worth the drive out there.

Face Book update, our Fan Page is almost up to ‘250 Likes’, so close, so close! Once we reach our goal we will put all 250 fans into the draw for a .925 Silver Pearl Ammonite Pendant.
